Ladies and gentlemen, we are continuing our tour of Hilton locations around Japan this year! This time, we visited the Hilton Odawara Resort & Spa. After driving along the Odawara Seaside Line and climbing a mountain road, a lovely hotel overlooking the ocean came into view.

The hotel offers 12 floors and 163 ocean-view rooms on a large site, complete with a natural hot spring bathhouse with an open-air bath and sauna. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 p.m., so you can spend a relaxing time.

We had reserved a twin room, but upon check-in we were upgraded to a Japanese/Western style room on the 10th floor! The spacious room with tatami mats overlooking Sagami Bay was a luxurious experience. We also enjoyed the hot spring bath in the morning and evening.
Enjoy Odawara specialties at the breakfast buffet
Breakfast is buffet style, served at the brasserie “Flora” on the first floor of the main building. Here, you can enjoy a variety of local delicacies such as shirasu omelette, in addition to Odawara specialties such as seafood rice bowls and dried fish. Hilton Honors Gold and Diamond members receive exclusive seating and a limited menu, making it a very special experience!

Kaisen Donburi Corner: You can make your own Kaisen Donburi by putting on as much Shirasu, Tuna, Aji, etc. as you like.
Live Kitchen’s Shirasu Omelette: Omelette with plenty of shirasu (baby sardines) and just the right amount of saltiness. The sweet chili sauce makes it even more delicious!
Mikan French Toast: Served daily, the French toast has a slight aroma of mandarin oranges.
Homemade tofu: simple but warm and comforting.
