The first Hilton opened on Miyako Island! Stayed at the hotel immediately. Gorgeous hotel in Miyako blue
We have just stayed at the Hilton Okinawa Miyakojima Resort, which opened on June 18, 2023 on Miyakojima Island, Okinawa Prefecture.
This is the first time Hilton has opened on a remote island in Okinawa Prefecture.
The Hilton Okinawa Miyakojima Resort is located approximately 15 minutes by car from Miyako Airport and approximately 25 minutes by car from Shimojijima Airport.
It is the Tulliver area of Miyako Island, where you can enjoy the mild climate throughout the year and rich nature such as beautiful coral reefs and mangrove forests.
Located next to Miyako Sunset Beach, it also features a location with a spectacular view of the world-class Miyako blue ocean and the Irabu Bridge.
Upon entering the entrance, the view that extends all the way to the ocean is liberating.
I was greeted with a spectacular view that made me feel like “I’m at a resort! I was greeted with a magnificent view that made me feel like “I’m at a resort!
The front lobby is on the second floor.
The gorgeous interior is decorated with numerous artworks inspired by Miyako Island.
A total of 329 rooms, mostly twin rooms, are equipped on the third through seventh floors of the hotel.
Guests staying on the Executive Floor, which is the top 7 guestroom floors (7th floor), and suite guests have access to the exclusive lounge.
This time, we stayed in a king room on the seventh floor and enjoyed tea service and evening cocktail service in the lounge.
Breakfast at Hilton Okinawa Miyakojima Resort is
Breakfast is served at Azure all-day dining on the first floor. It is buffet style.
Breakfast hours are from 6:30 to 14:00 on weekdays and from 6:30 to 15:00 on weekends and holidays.
In addition to the dishes on the buffet, each person chose one dish from the Hilton Honors Gold members-only menu. Today’s smoothie was also provided for the number of people.

I was torn between the two, but I ordered the Hilton Miyakojima Special Eggs Benedict and the Eggs Slat Truffle Flavor.
The Hilton Miyakojima Special Eggs Benedict is filled with spinach and has a tender texture.
The Eggslat Truffle Flavor had a melt-in-your-mouth egg texture.

Signature Miyako Miso mini burgers in the live kitchen
In the live kitchen, where the chef prepares and serves dishes right in front of your eyes, you can enjoy mini-tri-burger with Miyako miso, a signature dish, and an omelette.
Okinawan dishes are also lined up. Agu mince curry and taco rice.
There are also daily chanpuru, dashimaki tamago with artha bean paste, and taco rice making with meat, lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes on rice.

The curry is a sweet curry with a different flavor from the Hilton Curry I had at the Hilton Okinawa Sesoko Resort on the main island of Okinawa. Hilton seems to put a lot of effort into its curry, and it tastes good no matter where you eat it.
I’m also happy with the steaming hot dim sum and Chinese-style congee.

Dressings, spreads, ice cream! Tropical Tropical Flavors
A wide variety of breads such as maple pecan, cornbread, rustic, and croissants are served with tropical butter, seeker butter, and other colorful butters.
Dressings are also available in bitter gourd, seekwasa, and pineapple.
Drinks include mango, guava, and sanpin tea
The ice cream is full of tropical Okinawan flavors: mango, seekwasa (Okinawan sea squirt), brown sugar, and vanilla.
There is also Miyako Island’s famous snow salt bar.
A wide variety of flavors were available, which were also sold at the Snow Salt Museum, where we stopped on our way here.
Use it as you like for the essence of your cooking.
You can also experience waffle making.
Waffles that you bake and eat yourself. This is also my personal favorite! A generous amount of Miyakojima Snow Salt Butter on top for a super luxurious taste.
Crispy and chewy! Light in texture and moist with butter soaked inside. If it weren’t for the buffet, I would probably eat two of them in one sitting.
