Lodging Experience at Nagoya Kanko Hotel
We stayed at the Nagoya Kanko Hotel, the oldest hotel in Nagoya, which opened in 1936 and has a classy, classical atmosphere with a design that blends Western and Japanese styles. Another key point is its convenient location, a 2-minute walk from the nearest Fushimi Station and about a 15-minute walk from Nagoya Station.
Taste the flavors of Nagoya at the breakfast buffet
The breakfast buffet served at Le Sud restaurant on the first floor can be enjoyed by non-guests for 3,800 yen. We stayed with the breakfast plan and visited early in the morning at 7:30. The restaurant was empty and the food on the buffet table was clean.
Colorful menu and live kitchen
The buffet includes colorful salads, hors d’oeuvres, fruits, cereals, and yogurt. A wide variety of breads can be enjoyed, including croissants, danishes, white bread, rolls, waffles, and even pancakes. Drizzling honey set with hive honey is also a luxury to savor.
Omelets are served in the live kitchen, and you can choose your favorite ingredients, such as cheese, ham, or mushrooms, and have them made on the spot. You can choose from soy sauce and tomato ketchup for the sauce.
Enjoy Nagoya specialties
There is also a wide variety of gourmet foods unique to Nagoya. Kishimen, chicken wings, and Nagoya miso red miso soup are available, and the kishimen that you boil yourself is especially recommended. The plump chicken wings are also delicious and a great way to enjoy the local flavor.

The beverage station offers fresh juice, milk, tomato juice, hot coffee, and tea. With morning light streaming in through the windows, we enjoyed an elegant breakfast time at the restaurant.
