Hilton Garden Inn Kyoto Shijo-Karasuma” Buffet Breakfast! Enjoy in a spacious Japanese modern space

Hilton Garden Inn Kyoto Shijo-Karasuma

Breakfast at Hilton Garden Inn Kyoto Shijo-Karasuma is served at Together&Co. on the first floor.
Breakfast is served buffet style.
Breakfast hours are from 6:30 to 10:00. One adult: 2,400 yen.
This time, I stayed with the breakfast plan.
With 201 seats, it is spacious. Like the guest rooms, the interior is colorfully decorated with wood as the base color, creating a modern Japanese design.

Comfortable, spacious sofa seating is also available!

Live kitchen features 3-color Niu-men noodles and Kyoto Oden! Obanzai and miso soup with kujo leeks!

The buffet is divided into salad, fruit, Western, Japanese, live stations, and a drink bar.
At the live station, you can order Kyoto oden, nyu-men, and waffles.

Japanese food, Miso soup

The Japanese food corner features miso soup with kujo leeks and sake lees, chirashi sushi, and obanzai.
The rice is made by Gihee VIII, a five-star rice master.

Also popular Western-style menu for hotel breakfast

Western cuisine includes popular items from the hotel’s breakfast buffet.
Scrambled eggs, sausage, crispy bacon, smoked salmon, cheese, fruit, salad….

The breads are small, and it is nice to be able to enjoy a variety of breads. The chocolate Danish was especially good.
Jam, chocolate and butter are also available.

Drink bar includes juices, Dilmah tea, Kyoto Japanese tea, illy coffee machine
self-service drink area in a restaurant (incl. soft drinks, coffee, tea, etc.)
Drinks include pineapple, apple, grapefruit, orange juice and milk.

There are tea bags of Sri Lankan black tea “Dilmah Dilmah” and also Japanese tea “Ippodo Tea Shop” from Kyoto.

An Illy coffee machine was set up, and visitors could enjoy café lattes, espresso, and other drinks.
Take-out cups are also available and can be taken out on the way home.

Hot tea and coffee to go.

The nyumen noodles with dashi broth is a repeat customer! Oden with Kyoto dashi broth is also available!

The restaurant seemed to be especially focusing on Japanese food, and Ikumi enjoyed mainly Japanese food, which was rare for her that day.
It is Kyoto-like and will be appreciated by tourists and inbound visitors from all over the country.
Delicious Japanese breakfast buffet
Repeat of Nyumen at Live Kitchen
The nyu-men noodles were especially delicious and I had to have another bowl!
The soup stock is said to be made by adding bonito broth to clam broth, giving the soup a gentle flavor.
I would like to taste this at home.

The noodles were soft and slurpable, and I enjoyed all three colors: plum, green tea, and plain.
Oden in Kyoto dashi broth is made with egg, chikuwa, and daikon radish.
It is delicious soaked in a light Kyoto-style broth.
The chef in charge of Japanese cuisine here is a master of dashi.
Waffles are light and crispy! Honey, chocolate sauce, etc. to taste.
The obanzai includes soaked Kyoto eggplant, Kyoto uni no hana, yuzu nameko mushrooms, saikyo yaki fish, and more,
The rice for chirashi sushi is also delicious, and the white miso soup is filled with crispy kujo leeks.
All the Japanese food, including the live kitchen, was delicious.
Even though the buffet area was compact for the size of the restaurant, the content was substantial and there were menu items that I would like to repeat.

I had the impression that many of the cast members and guests were foreigners. The Hilton is a foreign-affiliated hotel, and Kyoto is a city of sightseeing and business.
