Japan’s first hotel inside a baseball stadium opens at the Nippon Ham Fighters’ new stadium, ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO.
All 12 rooms are concept rooms named after baseball.
The hotel’s spa area “tower eleven onsen
During my stay at the hotel, I also had access to the 3rd floor spa area (hot spring and sauna), which I went to as soon as possible! (The fee for use is included in the room rate)

space for changing clothes

Spacious changing area with lockers with locks.
Hair dryer available. No skin care products, but cleansing and bath items are available in the bathroom.
Baseball games will be broadcast on the screen.

To Onsen

One indoor bathtub.
What a great view of the field, even from the bath. The natural hot spring and sauna inside the stadium is the first of its kind in the world.
The color of the water was like black hot water, and it had a soft, mild texture. It is still cold in Hokkaido in April.
There are also speakers in the bathrooms, where you can listen to live game broadcasts that are linked to the changing area and active background music that is typical of a ballpark.

Even if you do not stay overnight, you can use the full-fledged sauna and hot springs! You can even watch baseball games from the bath!

It’s an amazing view.

Sauna area is shared by both men and women, so swimsuits are required. Swimsuits can be rented from an automatic rental machine (1,000 yen). You can also use your own swimsuit.

There is also a bar where you can enjoy original craft beer brewed in the stadium, various drinks and light meals.
There is a lukewarm bathtub and a water bath.

The field is right in front of you.

The hot springs were through glass, but here the fences were low, and the view was straight through to the field, creating a greater sense of togetherness.
Sauna is real heat. The handrails and backrests have a bud motif.
The field is right in front of you.

On game days, you can watch the game for real. On game day, I’m not sure where to watch the game from: the sauna, the hot spring, or the guest room.

Although the day we stayed was not a game day, it was quite a valuable experience.
Even if you don’t stay overnight, you can use the sauna and hot springs for 2,500 yen and up.
