Perfectly Located for Sightseeing in Kobe

Kobe Port Tower Hotel is ideally located just an 8-minute walk from JR/Hanshin Motomachi Station and about 4 minutes from Minato Motomachi Subway Station. Sitting near the iconic Port Tower, it’s a great base for exploring the city—perfect for sightseeing, strolling, or shopping.
At check-in, you’re greeted with a chilled towel—a small but thoughtful touch. The lobby also features complimentary coffee, mineral water, and a handy amenities bar where you can pick up whatever you need.

Relax in a Japanese-Modern Room Where You Can Kick Off Your Shoes

We stayed on the 6th floor in an “Urban Floor” room—a modern Japanese-style space with the warmth of wood and tatami mats. You can take your shoes off and walk around barefoot, which makes the room feel cozy and homey—great for families with kids.

The room features two low beds, a tatami living area, and a work desk—ideal for family trips or a girls’ getaway. The bathroom includes a separate shower booth and toilet, along with a hairdryer and skincare products for a comfortable stay.
From the window, you can see the Port Tower—offering different scenic views during the day and night, adding to the charm of the hotel.

Unwind in the Public Bath

Head to the 3rd-floor public bath “Nagomi no Yu,” open from check-in until 10 a.m. the next day. Soak and relax your travel fatigue away.
They offer skincare products and a shampoo bar, so you can choose what suits you. This time’s special “monthly bath” featured water from Tsukioka Onsen in Niigata. It’s a fun way to enjoy famous hot springs from across Japan—perfect for those looking for a quick escape from the everyday.
A Variety of Services for Families or Girls’ Trips

Guests staying on the Executive Floor can access a private lounge on the 5th floor, where you’ll find drinks, light snacks, and even alcohol—great for unwinding after check-in.
From 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the hotel hosts a “Happy Hour” at Nagomitei on the 3rd floor. Draft beer is just 100 yen, and highballs or juice are free—a fun little break for the grownups.

At night, stop by the 1st-floor snack bar “Sakaba,” where you can enjoy drinks and karaoke in a nostalgic, retro Showa-era setting. The warm, friendly conversation with hotel staff made for a memorable evening.

[Dinner] A Dinner Buffet That’s Fun for the Whole Family

At the 2nd-floor restaurant “Buffet Dining The HARBOR,” the dinner buffet changes seasonally or with special events. There’s a live kitchen featuring exciting performances like Brazilian churrasco carving and ice cream made with liquid nitrogen—fun for both kids and adults!
During our stay, they were hosting a “Seafood Feast vs. Authentic Churrasco” event, offering big, shareable dishes. There was also sushi, tempura, dim sum, hot dishes, and desserts—perfect for families.

[Breakfast] A Morning Buffet Packed with Local Flavors from Hyogo

Breakfast is also served buffet-style at the same restaurant. You can enjoy local specialties like Akashiyaki, fresh local veggies, and milk jam from the popular Kobe shop “AKITO.”
Western-style favorites like omelets, freshly baked bread, and fluffy French toast are also available. Non-alcoholic sparkling wine adds a touch of luxury to your morning.

Soak in Kobe’s Night Views on an Evening Walk
The Port Tower is just a short stroll from the hotel. At night, the illuminated tower stands out beautifully against the quiet harbor town backdrop. It’s the perfect spot for a post-dinner walk or a family nightscape adventure.
