The Hibiya area is a mecca for entertainment culture, home to many theaters and cinemas, including the Imperial Theater, the Nissay Theater, and the Hibiya Film Theater, and the hotel’s interior is designed in the Art Deco style based on the concept of a theater, with motifs of gorgeous lighting, rugs, seats, and movie films. The hotel is decorated in Art Deco style with motifs of glamorous lighting, rugs, seats, and film motifs.
Entering the entrance on the first floor, one sees a lobby reminiscent of a theater. There are curtains for the backstage and soft sofas like those in a movie theater.
Breakfast at La Scène restaurant. With a view of the “floral star” and the train
Breakfast is served at the restaurant on the basement floor
Breakfast hours are 7:00-11:00 (LO: 10:30)
Breakfast is a half buffet style with a choice of main dish. If not included in the breakfast plan in advance, price: 4,500 yen per person.
La Seine means “scene” in French, and is intended to be used for important occasions for guests.
On the ceiling of the first-floor atrium is a brilliant objet d’art in the image of the floral stars (dancers) who have played an active role in Hibiya.
The restaurant is calm and relaxing, surrounded by earth-colored interior with the warmth of plants and wood.
Outside the window, the train traffic is seen from a different angle than usual.Vivid private rooms representing the wild sounds of Hibiya. There are two private rooms with different designs.
Choice of egg dishes & half buffet! Homemade jams and fresh bread are excellent.
When we were shown to our seats, hot coffee (or tea) was poured and we chose our main dish of eggs.
There are fried eggs, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, and white omelets.
Each is accompanied by crispy bacon, sausage, baked potatoes, roasted tomatoes, and mushrooms.
Hot soup is also served at your seat. It is nice to be able to warm up first.
Go to the buffet table while the food arrives!
The menu includes colorful salads, fruits, bread baked in-house, sweets, salmon, ham, yogurt, cereal, and fresh juices.
Coffee machines and hot tea are located on the entrance side.
The menu is a fusion of Japanese and French cuisine based on French cuisine, with an emphasis on Japanese ingredients and incorporating vegetables grown in Hachioji, Tokyo, and honey collected at the Imperial Palace.
The chef’s homemade jams, dressings, and salad toppings are also available in a wide variety.
The white omelette I had chosen for my main course arrived, and when I laid out the dishes I had taken, it was a sumptuous feast from the morning!
A whole range of colorful vegetables, breads and sweets.
At a hotel buffet, egg dishes from the live kitchen are nice, but there is something special about having them freshly prepared and brought to your table.
The large white omelette, made only with egg whites, is white and fluffy inside. Serve with crispy bacon or sausage.
Two cute fried eggs in a row. Pulled! The simple taste is delicious.
The buttery freshly baked breads and sweets are so good, you’ll want seconds.
Along with the attentive hospitality, I was able to relax and enjoy an elegant time that only a hotel can offer.
A good breakfast, the last experience of your hotel stay, is very memorable. After eating a lot, we will leave again!
