We stayed in the “Suite Villa,” a spacious 135m² retreat complete with a terrace offering a view of Mt. Fuji, a private outdoor hot spring bath, a cold plunge, and a sauna. This villa, situated on a hill, offers an exceptional experience with the stunning scenery of Lake Kawaguchi.
Check-in is a breeze using a tablet for self-service. A quick facial recognition scan and code entry give you access, and you pick up your key from a secure box, allowing complete privacy without needing to meet any staff. This adds to the exclusive, luxurious vibe.

The villa’s terrace provides sweeping views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. While enjoying the hot spring, cold bath, or sauna, you’ll feel like you’re floating in the sky. The onsen water is sourced from Kawaguchiko Onsen’s “Shūrei no Yu,” known for its skin-beautifying properties.
After a relaxing sauna session, cool off in the plunge pool, take in the fresh air, and then return to the hot spring at your leisure. Cook your own gourmet BBQ for a special dinner
For dinner, we enjoyed a BBQ on the terrace! We picked up fresh steaks and vegetables from a local butcher and grilled them on the gas grill. The grill is easy to use, even for beginners, and doesn’t require any fire-starting skills. Grilling while enjoying the views of Lake Kawaguchi and toasting with wine made for a truly blissful moment.
The villa even provided a complimentary bottle of wine to celebrate its opening, adding an extra touch of luxury. We savored our freshly grilled steak and vegetables in the comfort of the living room, enjoying a relaxed and special dinner.
