On September 1, 2022, the Hilton Hiroshima, the first Hilton brand in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions, opened.
I stayed there on the first day it opened!
The location is close to Peace Boulevard, the main street of Hiroshima City, and a 10-minute drive from Hiroshima Station. Restaurants, shopping and entertainment areas are within walking distance, making it an ideal base for business and sightseeing.
The building has a front desk and flow lounge on the first floor, and guest rooms from the 7th to 22nd floors, with a total of 420 rooms.
Check-in time is 15:00 and check-out time is 12:00.

We stayed in an executive twin room located on the upper floors of the hotel, from the 19th to the 22nd floor, a 35m2 room with a large 55-inch TV and two 135 x 200 cm beds.
The walls of the pillows are decorated with maple leaves (momiji), a symbol of Hiroshima Prefecture, and the colors change at night.
Outside the window is a view of the town and the mountains beyond.
Large tables and chairs allow you to work on your PC, and the Wi-Fi connection is comfortable.

The nightwear is a ryokan-style yukata. It is comfortable to wear with strings and buttons, and is free size and a little large.
Vidal Sassoon hair dryers and hair irons available for rent at the front desk are also made by Vidal Sassoon.
It is also convenient to charge your phone by simply placing it on the bedside clock, or connect it to bluetooth to listen to music.
I felt at home in the modern atmosphere that incorporated the beautiful nature and traditional crafts of Hiroshima everywhere.
Go to the swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests! Jacuzzi & Sauna from 6:00 to 22:00
In the evening, we went to the 5th floor pool, which is free for guests! There is no front desk, and you enter by holding up your room key. The room is equipped with lockers & washbasins, a shower room, and a set of cleansers, lotion, shampoo, body soap, and bath towels.
20-meter indoor pool with Jacuzzi & Sauna available from 6:00 to 22:00.
This time, we stayed in an executive room with access to the executive lounge. We also enjoyed tea time and cocktail time at the lounge.
